System Types
Worldly Concepts will analyze the
specific needs for each property and develop a system that best
suits these needs. Worldly Concepts develops systems in the
following types:
Individual
Receiver Distribution System (IRD)
IRD's allow each television to access
Worldly Concepts' satellite infrastructure with its own receiver and
an independent programming package.
The advantages to this system design includes reduced installation
fees, access to a fully managed infrastructure, and minimal impact
on the building. This design may be utilized for commercial and MDU
applications.
Satellite Master Antenna
Television System (SMATV)
SMATV's consist of a pre-selected number
of channels packaged into a single system and distributed to users
in a property. The benefits of this type of system is the
elimination of receivers at each television, the elimination of
monthly programming fees, access to a fully managed infrastructure,
and minimal impact on the property.
This design is suitable for commercial and MDU applications, and
requires that the owner of the property execute a programming
agreement for the entire property.
